Yellow

If there's light at the end of the tunnel it must be Friday.

  1. It is Friday, but I don't have any light at the end of my tunnel today.

  2. Change tunnels. Better yet Sherri, grab your toothbrush and come join me in mine. It's a bit warmer here than there. Tomorrow is going to be sunny with a high of 72 degrees. Lots of painting to be done and I could use the help of someone with your expertise.

Missed you at the campfire last night. :-)

  4. Sherri, a poem for you:

    Don't Quit

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will

When the road you're trudging seems all uphill

When the funds are low and the debts are high

And you want to smile, but you have to sigh

When care is pressing you down a bit

Rest, you must - but don't you quit

Life is queer with its twists and turns

As everyone of us sometimes learns

And many a failure turns about

When he might have won had he stuck it out

Don't give up, though the pace seems slow

You might succeed with another blow

Success is failure turned inside out, the silver tint of the clouds of doubt

And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems so far

So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit

It's when things seem worst, That you MUST NOT QUIT!

  5. Happy Friday Trée! Friday is always so fabulous - sort of like coffee. The anticipation (aroma, if you will) is sometimes even better than the actuality.

Your golden spiral looks like something I've read about in a Charles de Lint book. Time to fly to another world.

  6. Terry, if they have cell coverage on that other world, give me a call and tell me what you see. I might need to book a flight. :-)

Sherri, no worries, I'll pay for your ticket, now go pack that toothbrush. :-)

  9. Sherri, I think it's because growing up in the South all I drank was sweet tea. Kinda gets in your system after awhile. ;-)

  14. 1/2 second to stop by and post....

I am counting on that light. I am counting on it and I will seek it out in the very darkest void should we find ourselves there.

Sherri - I wholly agree with the poem Trée posted. Darkest before the dawn and such. Hang in there and great big hugs to you.

Trace - Your train will stop at the station long before that light catches up with you. There's nothin but good at that station...just wait for it.

Now, as they say in the funny farm "I'm off".

    Super big weekend hugs.

  17. This one is really great Trée! Very pretty.

Just wanted to drop by and say hello. It's been a crazy week and I've barely had time to post much less keep up with my comments.

  18. Thanks Beard, I'm trying. :-)

Have a great weekend and look for more stuff tonight. I've got an interesting sorta sci-fi image in the batter's box. As soon as I can figure out what the heck I want to say about it, I'll put it up. I might just say--damn good looking pic and leave it at that--lol.

  19. Linny, so good to see you again my dear sweet girl. Afraid I've eaten all the ice cream but I can run to the store real quick.

Been reading your postings and I feel the emotion. I wish I could have been with you in that park just chillin out. Sounded like a nice get-away.

Have a great weekend Linny. :-)

Hope the light is as bright as can be, when it finally gets there - in other words, the weekend is about to descend on Tennessee (remembered correctly this time, despite the late hour) and here's hoping it will be a fabulous one!
    Nighty night.
