For those that don't read Russian, the title is "Society Girl." I used Russian to highlight the winter headwear this young lady is wearing and I envision her walking down the streets of Moscow.

So no flippant comments, no humor, my off center day not withstanding, that quote is just somthing that resonates. You have had some great quotes but this one just touches on something.
Interesting that you should match that quote with your Society Girl... Don't know if you are referring to the girl, the desire of another for the girl, or just generally speaking. I can imagine the quote meaning something like after a rich man gains his riches, he is never satisfied with the status quo - he wants more. Anyway, nice rendition - I like the "hat".
Sunshine, it's been a good day. Got some resolution in a satisfactory way on some business issues, so that's always a good thing. Everyone is happy again, at least for another hour or so. :-)

The best single quote from an interview I ever read on this question was when Henry Ford was asked if after making his first Billion if that was enough, and (according to the story) answered, "no, I just need a little bit more."
I don't know if that story is true, but I think it illustrates desire begeting more desire, and it's endless.
I could go on for days on this subject because so many in our country misunderstand where I'm coming from. Conversation for another day.

A, I like to "take the piss out of" Clive to use a british saying. He is a wonderful writer and I enjoy the heck out of his writings. I love his ability to accept my humor and my poking a little fun at his seriousness at times. Do you think I gave him some good advice? LMAO
I didn't think so much along the lines of material things, though in today's culture it is certainly true, the more people, have the more people seem to want and even feel entitled too. It just hit me more basic than that. (shrug) I just can't really explain it.So I'll be quiet now and just golook at the pretty picture :0)
