Apophysis: Epaulets

25 comments:

  1. Mario displayed such courage over the last three weeks, I only imagine when he arrived in canine heaven, the first thing they did was recognize his achievements in the fight with a few new epaulets to decorate his already colorful uniform.

This image, for me, represents that special place where such finely crafted symbols of achievement are made and stored awaiting a deserving home.

I can see him now with his new decorations and the look on his face that says, "did you expect any less of me."

    :-)

I find this one facinating! Intricate.

  3. A, this one has a decadent richness to it. The colors are deep and sinful. Has a certain glow, a feel of Spanish gold, perhaps of pirates' treasure. :-)

  4. Trée! That is amazing. Gives the sense of a royal robe. Just perfect!

  5. Aggie, it does have that "royal" sense to it. Are you still wearing those boots or have they been ante'd up. :-0

I've got a nice FNF in the batter's box for tonight. Look for it later this afternoon or early evening. :-)

  6. I can't bet the boots just yet. Gotta download the other and see what I'm up against.

Did you download the song? I would be the "half out of her mind" type. LOL

  7. I did download the song and I can't believe I didn't have that Issak tune on my iPod. It's fixed now. :-)

Actually, I don't want you to bet the boots, cause I want to see and feel those boots where they should be {rest of comment deleted for the sake of not intruding upon imagination} ;-)

  8. Oh, and by the way, I can live with these lyrics--;-)

"I Like The Way She Moves"

I met a girl she was half out of her mind.
That's okay cause I'm half out of mine.
She said I'm tired of love, all the games, and crying.
And all I want from you is a real good time.

Said I know how you feel cause I've been there too.
She said you're wasting time we got things to do.

I like the way you move me.
I like the way you bring it to me.
Love the way you know what's on my mind.

I like the way you shake it.
I like the way you don't have to fake it.
Knew right from the start it would be fine.

    Later.
I was laying in bed trying to catch my breath.
Half ashamed half smiling at the things we did.
She made it clear from the start it was a one night stand.
But I was thinking of ways to make her change her plan.

Nobody else ever made me feel this way.
Sounds shallow well I'm sorry what should I say.

I like the way you move me.
I like the way you know how to do me.
Like the way you know what's on my mind.

I like the way you shake it.
I love the way you don't have to fake it.

Knew right from the start it would be,
dont you think that we too could be,
I'll bet anything that could be fine.

  9. This one reminds me of peacock feathers. At least the shape.
    Very nice :)

  14. So, is it normal to take 5 minutes to render? I even had one that wanted to take over an hour. I gave up and rebooted at that point.
    Sigh, my poor strained CPUs.

  15. Leigh I like your description very much. "morrocan with a spanish hint of colour" -- Brilliant!

  16. Aggie, it depends on your settings. When my render settings were low it took about 10 minutes to render. I increased the settings quite a bit and it now takes about an hour to render an image like you see here and below.

  17. ...thumbing through the manual....
    Render settings?

I may not know what I've gotten myself into. We only have the one PC. Hogging it might be a problem. Hmmmmm....

  18. Aggie, go the the website and take a couple of the tutorials.

Of course, I'm not so sure I want your head into Apophysis tonight. I can think of better places for it. :-)

Put some music on and grab a beer. It's Friday. Besides, I already said I wanted your boots on. LMAO

  19. Aggie, sweet darlin' baby, if you go to options on the main bar, then click on the options tab, up will pop a box. Click on the tab for display. There you will see Rendering and a box for quality. I have mine set at 35, which will take the better part of an hour to render on my laptop.

The lower the setting the quicker the render and the lower the resolution.

Now get your head over here. I got something for it to do. ;-)

  20. LOL, I bet you do! Sorry hon, it's only 9pm and I have had just about enough of this day.
Tomorrow will be brighter and more creative, I hope.

Hugs. I'll be sleepin with my boots on.

  21. And I had my hopes up so high tonight ;-)

    Sweet dreams Aggie.

  23. Jack, for you to be able to share such a positive thought in the shadow of your Yankees demise is truly a wonderful compliment. Much appreciated my friend.

  24. I see Egypt more so than Spain, ancient either way, perhaps with a few sea gods thrown in.
In any case, I am completely envious of your vision and talent :-)

  25. Autumn, always a nice way to start the day with such kind words. :-)
