Lacquered Dreams

Holding you
as the wind
holds
a flame

We twirl
the day
as the sun
twirls
the world

The sky
our carousel
gallop
with me
on lacquered
dreams

  3. Beautiful. This is one of those times when the text fits the image extremely well. I'm in awe (what else is new).

  4. One day I shall make you a banoffee pie, and that moment when you take your first bite and as the decadent fusion of biscuit, banana, caramel and chocolate melts upon your tongue, I will remind you of this poem (& image) and you will know then what it felt like to read it as reader. Am with Annie, here is the sensual world.

  6. Ms Storm, I look forward to tasting that pie, perhaps overlooking the ocean on the deck of a cottage. :-)

  9. You sound spunkier and a spunky Tree is a very good thing :)

Love the image and love the words that seem to embrace.

  11. Jen, I think I'm just punch drunk from all the drama. As for little Debbie, bring it on. Me and Debbie were very good friends growing up and I still occasionally flirt with the lass; and I must say, she never, ever, disappoints. :-D
