Revelation

Drinks made at home are much stronger than elsewhere. Blue Jays are big arse birds. This is the kind of post you get after a few Pamaritas, homemade of course. Thanks to all for the bday wishes. As always, much appreciated my friends. Peace.

  1. Hope you're having a wonderful day!

The old saying is true -- life gets better every year.

  2. OB, I couldn't agree more. I'm on Pamarita number three and feeling little pain. By the way, since Joe #2 went by the wayside, does that mean Joe #5, namely me, is now Joe #4? Just asking. :-D

    ReplyDelete
  3. I've gotta Google those Pamaritas -- sounds like they'd be good lakeside drinks here in our summer heat and humidity.

Hmmm...the Joe situation...I think the vacancy sign will have to go up for #2. I'll be interviewing again one of these days :-)

But just maybe, now and again, I might reverse the scale: 1=low and 5=high

  4. OB, go here Pama. I can now testify from actually experience that Pama, the world's first true pomegranate liqueur is worth every penny.

PS, I'm all for the new Joe accounting system.

  5. Birthday?? How did I miss that? Happy Belated Birthday Tree. I shall drink a toast to you tonight!

  6. Not belated Chicky, I still have about 3 hours to bday #43. Thanks my warm enticing chicky for your well wishes. Is there a hug that comes too? :-)

PS Hurry with that toast, I'm already at number ... helius, I can't remember, but you have some catching up to do sweetie. :-D

  8. OB, you are the PAMA
MOJITO of my life. I feel your energy for life my dear. Next month, perhaps, I have my Richie Sachs. Wanna ride?

    ReplyDelete
  9. You're getting your SACHS! How exciting! I'd love to ride!

    Mountains near your place??

    ReplyDelete
  10. OMG it's ur bdayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Mwahhh tre! Happy birthday to ya and hope u have a BLAST!

  12. Tennessee is known for it's rolling hills--very hard to find more than a mile or two that is flat. Now, I wouldn't call anything around here a mountain, but hills, well, we got hills coming out your ying yang. :-D

If I'm still on schedule I should have my Sachs next month--original plan was 28 months and next month is number 28. I haven't heard from Richie, so we could be off a month or two. Either way, I'm a patient man. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  13. Oh Keshi, I'm on my way to check it out!

    ReplyDelete
  14. ...and patience means the ride is

    ever
    more
    sweet

    ReplyDelete
  15. OB, I already have the ride in my mind. Flows like honey. No separation between saddle and chamois. Gears hum and tires rotate with a hypnotizing spin. And no matter how fast I go downhill and lean into a turn, NO FRICKEN SHIMMY! :-D

    ReplyDelete
  16. :-)

OK, I've gotta say it: it's like those things that go bump in the night -- some shimmies can be goooood things!

    ReplyDelete
  17. LMAO! About three years ago I was out for an early Thanksgiving ride. I was coming down one of the major hills near my house--not much, about a 9% grade for about a mile with a curve. I hit forty-five miles an hour on the curve and my bike started to shake. It was my first experience with major shimmy at speed. I thought my bike was gonna explode into pieces with me just a slick on the road after they scraped me up. Somehow I maintained control. First thing I did was check my headset cause I was certain it was loose but it was as tight as could be.

I must say, the danger was quite a rush. Blood pumping, muscles flexing, concentration at an all time high. A feeling I would like to bottle for the middle of the night when a bump or two is called for. :-D

  18. Hey Main Man - sounds like you're celebrating in style. Excellent!

  19. Morning Sunshine! Woohoo! Always so good to see your Domain Name pop up. If I hurry I can get some coffee on for you dear. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  20. Oooh, and you sing so well. Maybe you could do that GML duet with James. :-D

By the way, are your tickets reserves seats or GA?

    ReplyDelete
  21. "Main Man." I think I like the sound of that. :-D

    ReplyDelete
  22. Reserve & no worries on the coffee, "Main Man" (does have a nice ring to it, doesn't it) I'm covered - what I want to know is,
    Did you have cake yet?
    Blow out your candles?
    Make a wish?
    :-D

    ReplyDelete
  23. I did have Cherry Cheesecake. And my wish, well, if I told you then it wouldn't come true. That's how it works, right? :-)

Where is Lisa? Tell that woman to get over here and stop being so damn shy. :-D

And yes, Main Man does have a very sexy ring to it. :-D

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yes, don't tell me whatever you do!
    :-D

As for Lisa, she likes to be fashionably late for parties as you know, but I'll tell her you have Cherry Cheesecake and Pamarita on the go and she'll be right along I'm sure. :-D

    ReplyDelete
  25. Tell her I need a flexible woman. Can she touch her toes? Better yet, can she place her palms on the ground? I could forgive a lot of faults for a woman with palm flexiblity. :-D

    ReplyDelete
  26. happy b'day tree

    ReplyDelete
  27. Thank you burf. This has been one of my best.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Oddly enough the question has never come up, so can't say as I know. I think you should ask her.

    :-D Fruitcake.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Well, if she would show up over here more than once in a blue moon I would. :-D

Come on Lisa, let us know. Can you bend it like Beckham or not? :-D

    ReplyDelete
  30. Can you bend it like Beckham or not?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Keshi, the only thing that could have added to my joy was to have your head on my shoulder. Are your locks long or short my dear?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Excellent - we like flexibility too. Good to know :-)

Sweet and beautiful dreams when you get that far. A few more birthday hugs as you go. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Hugs are good. A bit more James and it's a date with my pillow and sweet slumber. Perhaps my dreams will take me to england this time. I'd like to see the team play at home. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  35. Ticket's here for you, all ya gotta do is book a flight ;)
    Night, x

    ReplyDelete
  36. Oh you do know how to tempt. So, what airport should I fly in to?

    ReplyDelete
  43. London, mmmm ... what to do, what to do. :-D

Oh, how I wish I could Sunshine. You are going to have a wonderful time. How big is the venue?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Keshi, for you, well, for you I have a very special backstage pass. You'll never have to worry about a queue with me. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  45. I really like these kinds of posts. I believe I had one myself not too long ago. LOL!
Sounds like you're having a really good time.
    Happy Birthday :)

    ReplyDelete
  46. Thanks Melly. I had a wonderful bday from start to finish. It was the kind of day that a birthday should be. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  47. when was your birthday? well happy belated birthday if i missed it. thank you so much for all your lovely comments on my blog. i will try to visit you more often!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Meander, my birthday was the 15th. Thanks for stopping by and you are more than welcome on the comments. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  49. Blue Jays are big arse birds

Stellars or scrubs? They are all good. Were you seeing little stars and moons circling around your head too? Tee hee - those pamaritas sound powerful. Hope your birthday didn't leave you with a headache :-D

    ReplyDelete
  50. Terry, those Pamaritas do have a sweet little kick but I'm very happy to report no headache this morning. :-)

You lost me on the "Stellars or scrubs" bit. I just call them big arse blue jays. :-D

    ReplyDelete
  51. If there's one day in the year where you should get to be happy (even if just for awhile) it's your birthday.

    Happy B-Day, Tree.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Next time, eh. :-D

I'm not even sure how many tickets were available for this venue. Its an open air concert, so I gather it will be quite a few. Went to check out the website, tried a few times (just now too), but it plays up, so am none the wiser.

And speaking of 'problems', thank you kindly for the link, sweet of you as always, but unfortunately I can't watch it (not available in my area), thus no feedback to come.

    Hope you're having a wonderful Friday! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  53. Hey Sunshine. No big loss on the link. I watched the whole concert and the video work was not all that brilliant. Even on broadband, it seemed as if it was still slightly out of sync. Was interesting to see him let the audience take over part of GML, which is very interesting because that is the one song he specifically asks the audience to "listen to." I had the feeling he just gave up and let them sing it. The only problem I have with this, is if you came to see James sing, you kinda got cheated because what you heard instead was the audience, not James. All in all, you didn't miss much.

Oh, and the new songs that will probably be on the second album--well, they edited those out. Bastards! LMAO

    ReplyDelete
  54. Thanks Jack. It was a mighty fine day. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  55. :-D How dare they!!

Oh good! - so glad I didn't miss anything crucial. :-)
Annoys me when any artist does that for precisely that reason, you wait to hear them sing it and then all you get is the audience - I want to hear every word he has to say, sooo hope he doesn't do that on our date :)

Still don't know how you locate all this stuff, but keep sending please :-D, makes me smile no end every time I get JB mail.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Hey sweetie! Happy birthday... I hope I'm not too late?!! I've missed you!! Smiles.

43 huh? Mmmm, you still look good baby! Very hot... ;-)

    Kisses for the birthday boy!

    Love,
    Y

ps. where can I get one of those drinks BTW??

    ReplyDelete
  57. Oh Y, such sweet words to see so early in the morning. :-)

Come to Tennessee dear, and I'll make you all the Pamaritas you like. ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  58. Mmmm, it's my pleasure sweetie! Now, don't you go and tempt me, I might just take you up on that offer...LOL!!

    Kisses!

    ReplyDelete
  59. ROFL. Happy belated birthday sweet man. (I miss so much.) Pamarita's sound divine. Blue Jays are not big arse birds...so now I'm worried you've had a bit much. LOL
Maybe birds in Texas are just bigger than blue jays. I don't know.

    Amazing frac below this post.
Happy to see you happy. :P
    Birthday hugs.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Thanks Aggie. Everything is relative and at the feeders in my backyard, the blue jays tower in size over all the other birds, hence my perception. :-D

    Have a great weekend sweetie.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Morning sweet pea.
Hope you have a night to remember! I'll be looking for your report tomorrow :), xo

    ReplyDelete
  62. Y, just be prepared to stay awhile. Once you get here, I don't think you're gonna want to leave. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  63. Sunshine, I'm very excited for tonight. My first offical paranormal investigation. I can't wait to turn off all those lights in that old house and sit in the dark to hear what we hear and perhaps see what we see. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  64. Smiles... That's what I'm afraid of Love! I wouldn't be able to get enough of you... Would I? Wink! ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  65. Well, if you ever get writer's block, come on up for a weekend or two and we'll fix that. :-D

    ReplyDelete
  66. Mmmm, I might just take you up on that offer darlin'!! I know I would have lots to write about... Giggling! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  67. Bring lots of paper. I think you're going to need it. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  68. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,
    HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,
    HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR Treé
    HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOOOOOOUUUUUUU!

I'm always late to the parties. Hope you had a great day with all the ice cream you could eat. :o)

  72. LMAO, what the heck is "jlzz?" Do I really want to know? :-D

    ReplyDelete
  73. jlzz is keshi-lingo for 'jealous' lol!

    Keshi.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I fall at your feet as you let the tears of your knowledge rain down upon me. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  75. and wud u let that rain wet u to a complete frozen state that u wud want me to make warm coffee for ya? lol!

    Keshi.

    ReplyDelete
  76. haha ur so sweet Tre.

    Keshi.

    ReplyDelete
  77. i can bend down
    and touch
    YOUR toes...
    (sorry i'm late)
and i refuse to bend it
    like beckham
    mostly because
    i dont know
    who beckham is
(isnt that like, a tennis person or something?)
turns out i can place my palms
    flat on the ground,
    wobbly legs relatively straight,
but i only save that pose
    for special guests
    on special occasions...

    ReplyDelete
  78. Palms to the ground? Wow, that is some serious flexibility. Just the image of that makes my imagination bend over backwards. :-D

Have a great weekend Music woman. And let me know when the next special occasion is coming up. :-)
