Star of Earl

As the sun set on the day, a star rose in the darkness of night and I felt a warmth on the back of my neck. Message received, job done. Permission to move on granted.

  10. Wonderful end to a very fitting tribute Tree. I hope you don't mind but I did grab at the chance to get inspiration from this. I know you wouldn't mind usually, but I just wondered with it being a tribute to your father's life. If you'd rather I removed it, please drop me a line and I shall remove it when I get up in the morning.

    Thanks.

  12. Wow!
This leg of the journey I find hardest to reconcile in my head. I did not know that it could be so warm and beautiful as this. I am struck dumb and filled with awe.
    Thank you for it.
I think I needed to know.

The entire tribute was so very moving. You've made your father proud, I'm sure.

  13. I don't know what to say... sorry.

Sometimes, people touch other people without knowing how or what exactly they did to them.

Well, now, with this, after reading your previous post, I'm touched in a way you couldn't imagine.

    Thanks :)

  14. Dawn, no worries. If the image speaks to you and you want to use it on your site with your vision by all means do so. I'm always flattered with I see one of these images on your site. It's a wonderful compliment.

  16. Aggie, at the risk of sounding preachy before my second cup of coffee, our past is what we recreate it to be. Lincoln said it best, the mind can make a heaven of hell, or hell of heaven. Mmm, I used to know that quote by heart but that didn't quite sound right but I think you got the gist of it. Soapbox mode off. Aggie, thanks again for leaving such heartwarming comments for me to greet my day with. I always look forward to your beautiful and unique way of expressing yourself. You are a gift to me child. Now go have a great day darlin'.

Mmm, touching without touching. Glad to be of service. Just don't tell anyone else this is possible since I kinda like the touching by touching part--lol ;-)
