8. Hynerian Passion Fruit

The Hynerians are legendary lovers, known beyond doubt from the Pleiades to Andromeda and all points between. Rygel the Angelic, aka Rygel VIII, personally oversaw the development and crosspollination of the fruit developed over the course of three centuries using a combination of exotic fruits from seven galaxies.

From the outside, Hynerian passion fruit looks like a normal green mango. When cracked open and exposed to air, the fruit illuminates and pulses. The inner edges generate heat while the center rapidly cools to the touch. A single succulent bite intoxicates the neural synapses responsible for amorous awareness while heightening the physical nerve endings in ways beyond imagination.

No one is really sure whether the fruit makes the sensations of intercourse better or simply causes one to think that it does. Moreover, no one really cares since the end result is an experience lovers have traded years in Hynerian dungeons to experience, and say they would do the same if given the chance. The fruit trades on the black market at prices only the wealthy can afford. If caught punishment is severe. On our island, however, it’s the main course tonight.

  4. Uneventful is the way I would describe the day. However, with the discovery of Hynerian Passion Fruit things are looking up. :-)

  6. Magnificent. One of my favorite words. Good choice dear.

  7. :0) it does rank right up there, and only to be used when appropriate, like now LOL

  8. Magnificent needs to be said with the eyes. The eyes in your avvy are close but not quite the look one gets with Magnificent. A little rounder and wider with a touch of sparkle is what's needed for a real Magnificent.

  20. Overripe pomegranate has never been my thing. Are you sure this is edible? :)

  21. I think you're right Jack. Please don't touch the stuff. I don't want to be held responsible for what might happen if you do. Never trust a Hynerian. They are aliens after all.

  22. Bet alls 'fine' too, since I'm wondering ;)

Trée, my connection was down again and am still unable to connect to the UD server - should I be worried?

    ReplyDelete
  23. A, the UD servers are down at the moment. I haven't been able to connect and upload results today either. As always, nothing to do but wait for them to come back online.

I do love how you worry about me. Makes me feel good and warm inside your concern does. My life is good. If my life situation isn't, I remind myself that my life and my life situation are two very different things. Hugs and kisses my dear sweet woman. :-)

  24. Hi Miss Yummy. Can I interest you in some fruit?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Ok, thank you, at least now I will know not to bother you with that question if it happens again.

Don't mind me - has something to do with wanting everyone to be ecstatic 24/7, I guess :-)

    Nighty night, x

  26. If you are turning in for the night, sweet dreams. Wish I was there to tuck you in and read you a bed time story of the time the Hynerians discovered they had finally perfected the long sought after passion fruit. This story does involve a little show and tell to do it right. :-)

  30. Did this come from Apophysis??! Oh my! It looks so real! I'm totally envious!

  31. Stacey, this one was done with Apophysis. I took the image to photoshop and worked to get the colors just the way I wanted them and to try and achieve a glowing effect. Glad you liked this one. My wife wants me to do a large print so she can frame it and place it in our kitchen. My first order! LOL

  32. Just out of curiosity, how long did you work on it in photoshop? I got photoshop 7.0 six months ago for my birthday and haven't installed it yet. I don't even know how to use it. Will it make my fractals look this cool?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Stacey, I probably spent around twenty minutes working with this image in photoshop. I would recommed picking up a basic manual for Photoshop. The program is very powerful and although some of the features are self-evident and are easy to use and understand, the real beautiful of Photoshop comes with understanding some of the details. I still have a long way to go, but everytime I discover how to do something new and different, it's very exciting. If you have a good fractal to begin with, Photoshop can almost always make it look better, even if all you're doing is adjusting for contrast or hue and saturation.

Let me know if you have any more questions. I might be willing to barter some photoshop info for how you and dzeni are producing those incredible textures with Apophysis. :-D

  34. This is beautiful and I absolutely love Passion fruit :D They don't look half as good as they taste, but this one looks radiant :)

And the drawings I've seen in here but not had the energy to comment on are great as well. Keep practising. It makes for good skills ;)

    Hope you're doing okiday :D
