Aggie, Welcome to the Team

Agnes joins Team Andrax as mate #117. Welcome aboard my dear friend. I have always felt you were as much a part of our team as anyone else before, for you have given as much support to others as anyone else. My heart is very heavy for you at this time and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your father. Welcome to the team and welcome to the fight against this horrible disease.

  1. 117 is a very lucky number.
My thoughts are with you too, Agnes.

  2. Thanks so very much. I can't see it as anything other than fate really...me meeting you here just before this situation.

I may only be able to crunch a byte a day but I just had to do something to "fight". It feels like a good start on a long journey.

I honestly don't know where I would be without having found you and all of the wonderful people who blog with us. Words are not enough to say how humbled I am by the grace and kindness that abound here.

    Love and hope to all.

    Thanks so much.

  4. Aggie, you are as much a part of us and we are of you. Every byte crunched moves us forward in the search for a cure. There is no contribution too small--none.

If I was in Texas I would welcome you to the team with a big one of these:

    ((((((((((hug))))))))))

    :-)

  5. Trust that I feel that hug and it is as big as the physical space between us.

    "The Space Between
    The tears we cry
Is the laughter keeps us coming back for more
    ...
    The Space Between
    What's wrong and right
Is where you'll find me hiding, waiting for you
    The Space Between
    Your heart and mine
Is the space we'll fill with time"

  8. Well, tell Dave I said his lyrics were in-f***ing-credible.

  9. I'm certain Dave knows. He's the one with all the mulah.

  10. Aggie, which song is this from dear?

  11. The Space Between - album name Everyday.

For you though, I recommend "Under the Table and Dreaming" which I used to do as a kid and has an amazing saxaphone solo.

  12. And by the way Trée, did you happen to recognize my new background? Hmmm?

Ok, I'm leaving work now so I'll be away for a while. And it's TV night so I'll absorb the brain in non-thinking exercises tonight.

Hugs to all. I'll check back when I can.
