Departure

At last, all good things must come to an end. This is the last photo taken this morning before departure. This shot looks more like evening than morning, which is more a result of my rush to snap the shot and lack of proper metering. All in all, it conveys a sense of leaving, a certain sense of sadness at goodbye.

  2. Eliane, com cada borne de meu angel doce, meu coração salta uma batida em antecipação a seus sabedoria e amor. O tempo está ainda quando um é com amor. Hugs e beijos meu angel doce!

  5. Darn, that's a great photo, Trée...and that is not exactly the kind of view you want to leave behind...but...as you said, all good things have to come to an end.

  7. Autumn, all in all, it was a great vacation in more ways than I can describe. Two weeks would be better than one since it takes about a week to change your rhythm.

Christa, thanks for the kind words. I almost didn't post this pic cause I wasn't as pleased with the metering or overall framing, but I caught myself being overly serious and critical and slapped myself for such unproductive thoughts ;)

Mergrl, we had a great time. Learning to accept that time flows without ceasing, nothing stands still, where one image in our mind fades into another is a lesson I always struggle to remember.

Time to go make some more good memories :)

Also time to get back on my bike--I ate anything and everything last week (by design that is) and it shows on the scales. :)

Good. It's not all about the technical aspects you know...I like the composition, the colours, the smell in the air...the sand between my toes....lol...just kidding ;)
I like the light and the colours...it's nice :)
